SNOWDOWN!

Durango has it's own made up festival.  It's called Snowdown and it's sort of an excuse to run around and do crazy things all week.  And to thank the snow gods for their bountiful harvest and to beg for more snow for the upcoming months.

Each year it has a theme and this year was "Get Your Geek On".  Which honestly, was a really hard theme to explain to a five year old.  Because I don't want Bennett to make fun of people that look "geeky".  And honestly, what's so bad about being super smart.  And a bad dresser?

But Geek it was and Geek we did.  There are all sorts of festivities the week of Snowdown and it culminates in a night parade on Friday night.  Brett managed to get the date off and we formed Team Ziercher: Mathletes!
