President's Day Weekend found us
traveling three and a half hours away to Taos, NM. This hippy dippy
little town boasts typical touristy New Mexican treasures as well as a
ski resort. The purpose of the trip was to ski with our good friends,
The Erwins, but when all was said and done, there was not a lot of
skiing to be had (at least not by the Zierchers).
Instead
there was a Girls' Day complete with delicious massages and a scrumptious
lunch. A park play date for Bennett and Edie, throwing rocks into the
river, lots of Wii and a number of super fun Dummy Rummy games.

| the decorating style was very eclectic, but somehow it worked... |
It was a pretty day but chilly, especially for playing near the river. But that's what we did...

| i'm not naming names but someone took an unintended dip in the freezing river |
The outside play structure in Toas is so sweet. The afternoon warmed up and it was lovely to lounge in a chair with Jill while the older kiddos played.

Thanks for a great weekend Erwins!
