The falls days here in Durango have been absolutely breathtaking this week. Clear bluebird skies with a crispness in the morning that fades into sunshine and warmth by the afternoons.
We've been trying to soak up every last drop.
This weekend was the Apple Festival in DRO. It was held at Buckely Park and there were bands, apple pressing demonstrations and some booths set up to sell homemade apple products. Cousin Bethany is here for a visit so she joined in on the fun.
Today we headed to the pumpkin patch at Chimney Rock Farms near Pagos Springs, CO with Bennett's school.
The kids loved having Bethany push them around in the wagon.
bethany is a very snazzy dresser, check out those tights!
Bennett's favorite part of the trip was when we got to ride on a horse drawn wagon.
| check out that enthusiasm folks! |
| i don't really like horses but they are very pretty...and useful...just big...and scary... |
We ended the trip by picking out two pumpkins that are sure to make fantastic jack 'o lanterns.
