Woods Lake

And because we hadn't camped enough in the past few weeks, the Zierchers headed out on an intimate family camping trip to Woods Lake, near Telluride.

We picked up our new stand up paddle board (SUP) on the way out of town so we could test it out.

We found a cute little camp site, tucked into the trees and we were only a short drive to the lake.

and then the clouds moved in

We took a hike through the woods, played in the creek and found some interesting art.

Apparently there are "lonely" shepards that wander the woods and create said art.

Hmmmmm.

I'm thinking they must be really lonely.
