On Memorial Day Weekend we headed two hours away to the Rio Grande for some good 'ole fashioned camping with some of our favorite people.
Deven & Jordan, saying "Heeeyyy!" Jason & John, get'n some bromance on.
We got some cute kids and they have this camping thing down. Everyone did great!
The sunset the first night was so beautiful. By the time I walked over to take a picture it was almost over but I caught the last few slivers of loveliness.
I love morning time when we're camping. Everyone is bundled up and you are so eternally thankful for whomever started the coffee and built the fire.
There's sort of a slowness about everyone that's really nice to savor.
I got so much crap from my lady friends for taking an early morning photo and do we not look amazing?
Sleepy. But Amazing!

The bottom left picture is of Abbi and Tod making fun of John Munn.
You had to be there but it was dead on!
We floated both days.
The first day was a super quick, super fun little float.
So we decided to float longer the next day.
And of course the next day was much colder and much more windy.
But still very fun.
Bennett helped Daddy row and Ms. Callie passed out cold both days.
As you can see, we had an awesome crew and an awesome first official float trip.
