Welcome to our new Blog! As some of you know, we've had a family website for the past three years but it's been rather difficult to keep up and truthfully, not very inspiring. We have friends and family all over the country and we want to be able to talk to you and let you know what's going on in our little Colorado lives. To tell stories and anecdotes and be witty, all that fun stuff.
So we've switched it up and we're now officially bloggers.
We chose the name of this blog with a little help from the Avett Brother's Song "At the Beach." We have two little ones now and we have the opportunity to see the world through a different lens; through brand new eyes that get excited over the little things that adults tend to take for granted. Bubbles floating by on a summer day, going to "the beach" (the little sand island in the Animas River by our house), jelly beans as the ultimate reward for being kind to our friends. It's all new to Callie and Bennett and we're lucky enough to be along for the ride.

We are going to try and make this blog as private as possible so if you're having trouble viewing it, let me know and I'll try and work out any problems.
