A Quick Trip To Denver

We cleaned up from our 4th of July party and hit the road for Denver.

We met the Meiningers, minus Jordan (who was visiting Grandma), and camped half way between Durango and Denver.

You know you have good friends when they will camp with you, with your children, without their children.

a beautiful backdrop for fishing

 Fisher people.

this was a picture we captured as the car came to an abrupt stop: notice dust on right side

After a night spent camping, we headed to the big city.

This was our first concert at Red Rocks, outside of Denver.
Maybe the most beautiful venue in the country.
But surprisingly dangerous.
Lots and lots and lots of stairs.
And lots and lots and lots of drunk people.
Amusing and scary at the same time.

Great Music + Great Friends = Super Fun Night!

Good friends get gum off of good friend's shoes.

And really, what super fun night would be complete without a stop at Denny's at 1am for some syrup drinking?

We said good bye to our friends and spent Sunday
hanging out at Denver's Children's Museum.

Concentrating very hard on building amazing works of art.

A little grocery shopping.

Making masterpieces.

Blowing body size bubbles.

And saving the world from destruction.
Firefighter Callie, reporting for duty!

A quick but action packed adventure in Denver.
Super fun!
