Bennett started playing soccer this month.
I was a little hesitant to sign him up for soccer because when he played last year it was a mess.
There were tantrums before practice and he spent most of the games sitting on the sidelines, too "tired" to play.
And then there was the complaining about his shin guards and how they hurt soooooooo bad he was going to die.
every.single.game.
So after much begging and pleading, I relented and signed him up.
And you know what? He's doing awesome!
No complaining. Just super happy to be out on the field with all of his St. Columba Kindergarten buddies.
We've had one game so far and he not only got hit in the face with a flying ball and went right back into the game, but he scored a goal!

Bennett is in the blue sweatpants and
although he didn't make this goal, you can see that he's having a great
time with his team and really playing like a true sportsman.
I'm super proud of him!
