We are not going to make it back to Missouri for Thanksgiving or Christmas this year so we decided to visit in early November.
This was the first time in over a year that I had been back to Columbia and it was a comforting, yummy, delicious sort of a visit for me.
We were in luck because my brother, Doug, took off from work and came down with his lovely wife, Rachel, and my nephew, Jackson.
The kids LOVED playing with Jackson. He's finally mobile and I think they're starting to realize that he's a real kid. And a fun one at that.

| grammie's house is so fun!! |
We were lucky enough to get to spend some time with Brett's parents too. I captured some really beautiful moments between Grandpa and the kids.
We were really lucky that he was feeling up to the visit. I think we wore him out because he went to bed at 4:30p after this day, but we had a really great time with him.
| gramps is pretty darn good at wii. he gave bennett a run for his money |
And of course we had to see Aunt Becky. She's one of the highlights of O'Fallon because of her endless amounts of energy and the fact that she always brings cool toys over to Grandma's house.
It really was a great visit. I hope we make it back soon!
